This is a delightful cream cardigan from the 40's. There are no labels but it is very soft and fine suggesting angora or an angora mix. The cardigan has a round neckline and fastens up with crochet ball buttons. The front of the cardigan is decorated with very pretty embroidered and bobbled baskets of flowers in orange and lemon with a splash of green. The 3/4 length sleeves are finished at the edge with an orange cross stitch design. The body of the cardigan is lined in a very silk acetate, the sleeves are unlined.
