This is a simple and elegant polar white wedding dress from the 1960's. It has elbow length sleeves and a wide boat neckline which scoops deep at the back. The empire line bodice has a rolled seam which falls to a lower point at the back to compliment the small pleated train. There is a structured fabric bow at the centre front and the skirt is gently flared. There are no fabric labels but it has the look and feel of a linen and cotton mix yet it does not crease like linen! The dress is lined in satin acetate and it fastens with a long metal zip.
