Nude organza 50s prom dress by Candy Jones

This is a stunning party dress from the 1950's by Candy Jones California. ( not to be mistaken with 70's label Candi Jones! )It is made from a shimmering nude organza over a nude satin acetate under skirt. It has a wide boat neckline and billowing sheer cuffed sleeves. The cuffs are decorated with swirls of embroidery and little round gold beads. This is also seen on the floral design on the bodice. The waist is seamed and the skirt is very full and flared from masses of tiny box pleats under the waistband. The dress fastens with a long metal back zip.

1950's / CONDITION: Very good - there are a couple of brown marks on the sleeves which may come out ( we can also visualise how amazing this dress would be even with the sleeves removed! ). Some of the little gold beads show some patina.
