Rare vintage Alice Pollock tunic top/mini dress

This is a fabulous rarely found shirt dress by Alice Pollock. It is made from a cream cotton densely embroiderd with a black and pale blue squiggle design. The dress buttons through with little cream and black buttons. It has a rounded collar and princess seams back and front to give a nipped in shape. The sleeves are big and puffy with cuffs.

Alice Pollock opened the boutique "Quorum" in the 1960's where she worked closely with Ossie Clark and Celia Birtwell.

CONDITION: Excellent - there is one small brown mark at the back betwen the waist and the hip area but you have to look really closely to see in in the pattern of the dress. There is also another small couple of marks which are so small we've illustrated them beside a penny. As well as one tiny repair - also illustrated beside a penny. See pics. Nothing to detract from wearability.
