Floral vintage 1950's dress

This is a lovely long sleeved dress from the late 1950's. There isn't a fabric label in the dress but it has the look and feel of a soft brushed cotton. The floral design is one of dense purple, mauve and green roses, with splashes of a blue background. This boat neck dress is empire line with double princess seams under the bust to give that hourglass silhouette. The skirt is straight with a kick back pleat at the back centre hemline. The dress fastens at the back with a long metal zip and is lined in acetate.
