This is a stunning dress by betty Barclay from the 50s. It is made from black and white acetate fabric with a gingham design. The bodice is sleeveless with a square neckline. The waist is seamed and the skirt is full and flared. The skirt features an over layer of grey chiffon fabric with borders of gingham and white broderie anglais. There is a white tulle petticoat. The dress fastens with a side metal zip.
